Garcinia Cambogia Extract

Garcinia Cambogia extract is made from special quality dried rind of the fruit commonly known as Malabar Tamarind. This fruit is mainly used for culinary purposes in South India. The fruit is also known as monkey fruit. The trees of this genus are also commonly called as Mangosteen and Saptrees.

The extract is standardized to contain 50-60% of Hydroxy Citric Acid. Most species in Garcinia are known for their brownish-yellow gum resin from xanthonoids such as mangostin. They are used as purgative or cathartic and most frequently as a pigment as well.
